Task:Fabricate a small sculpture by soldering 12 pins and a bent
brass rod on a protoboard.
Materials:protoboard, 12 pin header, brass rod, soldering iron
The sculpture I created by bending the brass rod with a tweezer is
a tree-like shape. For every assignment and skill I learn in this
course, I want to think of it as planting a tree and creating a
forest of knowledege. I visited the lab during office hours to
learn how to solder with the help of TAs. I became familiar with
the tools and practiced soldering with the 10 pin heads and 3
points on the sculpture.
Task:Write a program that runs on a ESP32 that is generative and
contains relevent text.
Materials:ESP32 TTGO T-Display, battery
Continuing with the themes of nature, from a tree to a flower in
the previous modules, I wanted my generative peice to be
reflective of this as well. On the ESP32, I uploaded a program
that randomly displays a temperature in fahrenheits. And based on
the value, a corresponding emoticon would appear as a reaction to
the generated temperature.
Task:Create an interactive device with the provided hardware. The
devices will run off wired power and send data back to a laptop
for visualization, sonfication, or any type of media generation
process.
